Well, it’s not pointless though. Haine and Shide wants Shinpei to die so that when he loops, he will come to the point of his death, so if he keeps dying faster than the time, loop ends. So, meeting is necessary as Shinpei can’t fight on his own.
Also we have Ushio, who can pseudo loop everyone so they can save the meeting effort the next time.
Btw, it may come as a spoiler but this anime isn’t different from the rest, but that it’s not the plot but SHORT hair always lose, BLONDE for the win.

Haine can just find and mark Shinpei again and how about if she mark it on his head? Haine seems to be able to mark Shinpei without actual confrontation, so those method seems useless to me. I mean this is not like some fantasy anime where you can use magic to heal your arm after it gets cut off. Once it gone, it's gone for life unless he's a shadow. And the method doesn't guarantee that it would work efficiently and prevent Haine to redo again. And don't forget that Haine has the memories where she marked Shinpei previously. No way in hell Shinpei will escape from her unless he runaway from the island.

This episode is like what just happened like ryunosuke dying then suddenly he's in the body of his sister weird, that eye is walking on its own, nagomu leaving the island and suddenly shinpei died

well he was in a line of sight cause they were expecting shadows to appear.
